Hanging out in Klang: Intersect By Clon

Intersect by Clon Entrace

Earlier this week, we found ourselves roaming the streets of Klang and we had to grab a quick bite before getting back to work. It was definitely too hot of a weather for Bak Kut Teh so we’ve decided to drop by this rather chic-looking cafe within LAX Boutique Hotel that we chanced upon.

Located adjacent to Klang’s Little India, the liveliest district in the area, Intersect By Clon has been serving coffee and brunch to the community for more than a year now. We were recommended the Vietnamese pizza and Tom Yum Spaghetti. To be honest, it wasn’t what we quite have in mind but still went ahead because #YOLO.

While waiting for the kitchen to serve up our surprise, we couldn’t help but admire the relaxed interior and we thought it’s a really great place for small offsite meetings over a cuppa. The interior of Intersect seats 30 to 40 patrons comfortably and the tall windows allow ample natural lighting to light up the entire cafe.

Tom Yum Seafood Spaghetti (RM28)

Lunch was finally served and it looks absolutely tantalising. Pasta tossed in creamy orange Tom Yum sauce, topped with a variety of fresh seafood, Intersect’s Tom Yum Spaghetti is sure to excite your taste buds.

Intersect’s rendition of this fusion dish packs an aromatic Tom Yum flavour with a kick. The warm creamy texture that goes with the spaghetti is nothing less than pleasurable and the sharp Tom Yum cream is sure to excite your taste buds. Together with some mussels, prawn and squid, it’s a party in your mouth. Not only a great choice, the portion was just right and the tummy is satisfied.

Vietnamese Pizza (RM13)

Intersect’s take on Asian-flavoured pizza is rice paper filled with egg and minced meat, grilled to perfection. The sweet sauce that complemented the fillings in between rice papers matched well altogether with the crispy edges of the rice paper, making it fun to crunch on.

Lunch’s done and we’re all ready to take on the next half of the day. If you’re in the area looking for a comfortable place to have lunch, check out their weekday’s lunch and dinner set. For only RM14.90, your lunch need not be complicated and skip the “Eh, what to eat ah?” million dollar question.  Don’t say we bojio.
